Nerdy Fresh

Our Buddy Frank from Nerdy Fresh manning the grill

This is a little late (thought we posted this already!) but we wanted to share this fun
happening with one of our favourite Dallas designers, Frank of Nerdy Fresh. He had a
release party earlier this month for his new shirts earlier this month at Centre. It's so cool
to hear about all the Dallas based designers and entrepreneurs making it happen!

Great turnout!

Another independent (and sooo nice) designer Aaron of Aphesis Clothing.

SHOES!!!

The super talented Kidrae 254 showing his versatility on the tables.

Nerdy Fresh

They're in! Nerdy Fresh T-shirts! Love this Dallas based urban brand. Love their ethos–
"As we all cruise through this world, we shall live to rock, dream mega big, fear no MAN,
and remain crispy fresh!!!"

Ten Key

The saucier red and black 10-key Calculator has finally arrived. Reunited with their more
modest white and beige siblings. Nostalgic first generation style keyboard calculators
designed by Ippei Matsumato.

Calendar Time!

Cannot believe that the year is already half way over. Figured if we're gonna keep getting
older, these calendars would be a great way to keep track.

Mormor Dinnerware from Normann Copenhagen

This beautiful dinnerware set is Designed by Gry Fager, a recent graduate of the Danish
Design School, the Mormor line of dinnerware is inspired by the patterns found on the
humble kitchen tea towel. "I was inspired by the atmosphere and the character of the
kitchen, particularly older kitchens from my grandmother’s time, and with Mormor
(Swedish for grandmother), I've translated a classic pattern into a modern context."

DAY ONE!

magic 1-up button - the key to the kingdom!

LOVE THE CON!!!! Yesterday, the first official day at Comic-Con was BADASS!!!!!!!!!
Thanks to a little white button that was randomly placed in the free swag bags we got to
go to a special screening of Scott Pilgrim after being PERSONALLY ESCORTED to the
FIRST ever pre-screening with THE DIRECTOR EDGAR WRIGHT!!!!!!

One of the other highlights of Day One was the panel discussions with JJ Abrams and
JOSS WHEDON (WE LOVE WHEDON!!!!). The two of them had an effortless and
hilarious chemistry. Cannot think of a better couple and can't wait for Day Two...

Gotta get some pics of the fan boys and girls.

2010 San Deigo Comic-Con WARM-UP Day!

Street signs in Klingon

This is definitely a big week for us. Not only are we preparing for Friday's gallery opening,
but Derek is at Nerd Mecca, the COMIC-CON 2010 in San Diego. He'll be there this week
to gawk, capture all the madness, check out what's new, bond with his Star Wars brethren
and, most importantly, bring back some goodies for the shop.

We'll be posting his adventure everyday. Check out our first experience with Comic-Con!
We'll also have a ton more pictures on our Facebook page.
