Fruit stand back in May...
If you've been to our shop, you know how often we rearrange and change our space
around (and we do this at home, too!) We do this mainly because it's our goal to have
a rolling inventory where we always order different products. Therefore, our display and
storage needs change weekly. But, we're especially proud of our new Toy Gallery Wall!
We broke down the fruit stand and used the individual pieces to create a wall suspension
system to display out collectible toys. Kinda proud of us right now!

Today, we have a new Toy Gallery Wall

This is a super campaign from Italian specialty paper company Fedrigoni. British designer,
Joe Stephenson, has created this beautiful work to encourage more visitors to the Fedrigoni
London showroom by luring them with gelato. Genius! "Drawing on Fedrigoni's Italian heritage,
the Gelateria (meaning 'ice
cream parlour') aims to provide a relaxed summer evening event
where
guests can cool off with a scoop of gelato, whilst enjoying authentic
Italian street music,
collecting paper samples and acquainting
themselves with the showroom..."
Love the simplicty.

There's 50 of these ceramic White Canotiers. Each with a different face, tattoo, identification. So cute! (via Brosmind)
Would LOVE to work with these guys! The Mingarro brothers of Spain has one of
the coolest and most fun design studios, Brosmind Studio, we've seen in a long time.
They do some wicked illustration works for some pretty major companies and they also
makes hilarious installations, like the bacon light shown below.

Honeycomb Lace Necklace
Exiciting! A new handmade jewelry line that we brought back from our trip to the San
Francisco Renegade Craft Fair. These pieces are all handmade with renewable bamboo.
Each piece is intricately cut and assembled and the complex geometric shapes makes
everyone of the necklaces and earrings so sophisticated. This pieces are so beautiful
and flattering on.

From the Lula B's booth, buttons in a gum ball machine! Can you imagine anything sweeter?
The three of us are Dallas babies and always rooting for a Deep Ellum comeback
A few months ago we met Brandon, the passionate organizer of the new monthly
Deep Ellum Outdoor Market. The goals is to "provide Deep Ellum with a venue for
local artists and
musicians to expose their talent, for local businesses to promote
their
services, and for bars and restaurants in the area to entertain more
people."
Anyway, we stopped by yesterday to check out their second event and had a great
time. The event is held in a covered parking lot which provided a lot of relief from
the heat. It's a small event, since it's so new, but it had a nice mix of vendors from
established favourites like Lula B's and new Etsy Designers like June Rose.
The next event is September 18th and we're definitely gonna go again!

This looks like either and old headboard or mirror repurposed as a jewelry display. Really stunning.

Cute little booth from June Rose. Great handmade pouches and jewelry. And, she was really nice too!

Stylish and casual set up for these great little second-hand clothes stall.

So close to buying those bronze 50's cat frames on the top left.

Cute 80's baby blue suitcase and journals
