OPTION ONE - Hard bound version, walk away with one book using one of the binding techniques

OPTION TWO - walk away with three different books with three different binding techniques

OPTION TWO - three soft bound versions
We're excited to share that Kim Neiman will be teaching JAPANESE BOOK BINDING
on SATURDAY, MARCH 27th 11 to 1 o'clock.
By popular demand and customer request we are adding a hard bound option to OPTION ONE:
the Japanese Bookbinding workshop.
Make one hard bound book using the traditional one of the traditional 4-hole binding techniques
described above.
OPTION TWO:
Make three books using different sewing techniques. Learn
the traditional 4-hole stab binding
and its variations; the
tortoise-shell and the hemp-leaf. These books are soft bound, using
single pages printed only on one side. Folded or non-folded sheets of
light weight paper will
be used for the book pages. You will
hand-stamped each book with your choice of Chinese
characters creating
your own custom titles. Personalized book plates are also included. These
elegant bindings are wonderful for small editions, chapbooks and
journals.
SATURDAY, MARCH 27th 11am-1pm.
REGISTRATION REQUIRED. workshop@weare1976.com or 214-821-1976
Workshop is $65 for either options (all materials included)
