By popular request, Paper Nerds are back Saturday, August 7th for our their second
paper marbling workshop! We sold out last time, so sign up soon before space fills up!

In paper marbling, delicate, swirled smoke-like patterns are produced on paper when
colors of ink or paint are floated on the surface of the water. In this workshop, you'll
learn to make a size bath for floating colors with carrageenan,  which is an extract from
red seaweeds. We will be marbling various papers for use as bookmarks, greeting cards,
gift tags, wrapping papers, and a thousand other possibilities. We'll also be trying our hands
at marbling different fabrics. All supplies will be included, but be sure to wear some studio
clothes or bring an apron.
